Hamilton’s $50 Million Lawsuit Against Mercedes: F1 Star Alleges Breach of Contract and Unpaid Wages

Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has filed a $50 million lawsuit against his former team, Mercedes-AMG Petronas.

Hamilton’s lawsuit claims Mercedes failed to fulfill contractual obligations, including unpaid wages and bonuses.

Sources close to Hamilton allege Mercedes mismanaged his finances, withholding millions in sponsorship revenue.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas released a statement denying any wrongdoing, calling the allegations “baseless” and “without merit.”

The lawsuit seeks $30 million in unpaid wages, $15 million in damages, and $5 million in interest.

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has been notified of the lawsuit and may intervene to resolve the dispute.


If Hamilton’s allegations are proven, Mercedes could face severe penalties, including loss of championship points.
